Eye Floaters

Floaters are small moving spots or threads seen in the field of vision. They are usually more noticeable in front of a uniform coloured background or bright conditions.

Floaters are usually harmless but do require immediate assessment if there is a sudden increase in the number present, if there are flashing lights seen or if a large new floater is forms. If you are worried about floaters or black spots in vision, book an eye assessment.
